SP4K Teachers

Ruthie Sipher-Mann
Hello,
My name is Ruthie Sipher-Mann and I am a 4K teacher at Rock-a-Bye. I graduated from Beloit College with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Education and Psychology and also received my grade 1-8 teaching license. I taught 3rd grade and 5th grade in Memphis, TN before returning to Wisconsin and beginning to work at Rock-a-Bye in 2011.

After teaching 3K, school age, and Spanish at Rock-a-Bye for three years, I attended UW-Whitewater in 2014 to get my early childhood license and then began teaching 4K at Rock-a-Bye. I love working with all the students and families that are part of the Rock-a-Bye community!

I live on the West Side of Madison with my cats Charlie Pepper, Olive Bette, and Annie Belle. In my free time, I like to crochet stuffed animals and baby blankets.
I am so excited that I have the privilege of teaching in such an outstanding environment.

Colby Supernaw
Hi, my name is Colby Supernaw and I am one of the SP4K teachers at Rock-a-bye.

I graduated from Luther College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career as a substitute teacher at Edgewood Campus School and at Head Start. I quickly realized how much I love 4K so I took a position as the lead 4K teacher at Head Start for many years. Since then, I have taught in Madison, Middleton and now in Sun Prairie at Rock-a-bye where I started in 2022.

I grew up and lived on the westside of Madison until my family moved to Sun Prairie several years ago. When I am not teaching, my husband and I love to play with our our 2 sons and our dog Cooper. As a family, we love to visit State and National parks and find fun coffee shops along our road trips.

I love that I have the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful community and be able to call my dream of working with kids my career!
